#12 Cornell +9.5 vs #1 Ky (ov/un 145.5) Thurs 9:55 ET

Cornell's outside shot has abandoned them. It might be more of a game if not for that.

The athletic advantage for UK is really apparent in the fast breaks. They're able to release early on every loose ball and rebound and create extra fast breaks, but cause they have the athleticism to recover on defense if they don't come up with the ball.

Cornell's center reminds me of that 7-footer from UCSB. It looks to me like the only reason anybody lets them play for their team is their height - and if they were only 6'8" they would be watching this on TV with the rest of us. When you play in the Ivy League you can make an impact on the game with height alone and no discernible basketball skill. When you're playing a team like Kentucky with two lottery picks in the post you're gonna get abused though.

As highly unlikely as it is...if Cornell could just drop back-to-back 3's, this game would be an actual "game" in an instant. 14 is significant, but by no means unattainable. Some quick turnovers from UK and a bit of turnaround in their 3 ball and anything's possible. Prob not gonna happen, but oh I would love it.

Yep. For as bad as Cornell has been, and all of Kentucky's advantages, it's amazing this thing is still plausibly within reach. Kentucky should be up by 30 on these guys at least.

8 is way closer than they should be...like you said JLB. 8 points can be made up in 2 minutes easy, let alone 8. If UK shows their youth at the wrong time, and Cornell plays smart, fundamental basketball...sinks a few shots...I'll say this one's up for grabs. Still UK's to lose, but it would definitely change the scope of the tourney favorites if they won a close one...with 'Cuse losing as well.
