'11 OH WR A.J. Jordan (Wisconsin Signee)

Scout.com: Underclassmen At The Crosstown

A.J. Jordan - WR - 2011
Trotwood (Ohio) Madison
Pledge: Open Class of 2011

Jordan was used more as a decoy than a main receiver in the Rams opening game against Mason. In a game that was stopped on Thursday night and restarted on Friday afternoon Jordan didn't post the stats you would expect from a big-time receiver. But Mason did a good job of keeping Jordan at bay and the Rams did a good job of finding the open receivers. Still Jordan showed the willingness to block and run great routes. Jordan is a major wide receiver prospect in Ohio for the 2011 class. Great burst and comes out of routes well advanced for his class.

I'm surprised this kid hasn't received more attention. I saw his highlight reel, and it was needless to say, VERY impressive. Obviously it's still very early, but I really would be surprised if he isn't offered at some point.

Interesting. Second Colorado offer I've seen for an Ohio kid. As my second favorite team, I'm happy they're going after Ohio kids: I don't think they'll take anyone OSU really wants, but they will probably gets some of the Minny, MSU, Cincy-level kids: They've had good luck with Doug Rippy and Rodney Stewart.

Wouldn't mind having another standout hurdler playing wideout for the Bucks, our last one did all right I'd say. That being said, if the stats are true, those are some pretty good times and a decent height. Hope he gets a Buckeye offer, and best of luck to the young man in the next year.
