I don't think a lot of people believe he's a 'must get' recruit. He's electric with the ball, but his size is a concern. He's fast, but he's not Trindon Holliday fast (who is?). Even Holliday was a bit of a role player.

I think Wad summed it up well with the 'act quickly or offer Shaw Washington'. Similar skills sets fill similar needs. There would definitely be a celebration if Shane Wynn is a Buckeye. Clearly the Buckeyes want one man to fill the slot, pun intended.

Remember how awful our return game has been since Teddy left? Shane will be a huge get and give us a huge boost here. He's a natural here.

Agreed. Seems every year we've been looking for a gamebreaker on returns and haven't been able to find anyone. Flash (remember him?) was supposed to help there and couldn't. The staff keeps throwing running backs and anyone else back there, but no one has been able to give us really good field position...consistently.

I personally love the idea of someone with Shane's, um, dimensions and quicks on returns.

He has issues with drops as well I've heard.

I would add '...or Cinco' if he can prove himself at camp this summer.
