Made a showing at the Michigan Showcase but didn't work out due to an ailing foot... He's not satisfied with his game & wants to improve his speed, quickness, & leadership... Served as a team captain last year but wants to be a better & more vocal role model for the team next season... Says OSU & Florida are recruiting him hard but things aren't going well with _ichigan right now (no detail given)... Only interested in playing LB, no leader, no time table...

Thomas is starting to feel the heat from recruiting... Attended the Michigan Showcase, didn't participate & wishes he had to avoid all the interview requests... He's still open to other schools but has narrowed his focus to the following 10 schools for the most part: OSU, Florida, 'Bama, Michigan St., Notre Dame, USC, Penn State, Oklahoma, Miami-FL, & Cincy (as listed in the article)... Plans to visit OSU, ND, MSU, Bama, & Florida soon as he expects them to survive his next cut...

They brought this guy up on Detroit sports radio yesterday. Basically the point was, how is it possible that a possible 5-star in the state of Michigan doesn't even have scUM in his top 10. They went on about how MSU has been winning a lot more instate battles since RichRod and is an eyebrow raiser in itself -- but for a guy of this caliber to not even have scUM in his top 5 was shocking to them.

It's not shocking that this one highly regarded in-state prospect isn't even considering scUM. It's that scUM isn't considering anyone in-state. THAT'S shocking. And Little Brother's cleaning house.
