What's even more interesting are the comments by '12 recruit Cyrus Jones about Jennings...landing Jennings could go a long way towards bringing in Jones as well. OSU hasn't offered yet but schools like Iowa, Maryland, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Virginia, Virginia Tech and West Virginia have...wouldn't be shocked to see OSU offer eventually.

Not sure who was handling Jennings' recruitment for Maryland, but you'd have to think that Franklin's departure has an impact.

The loss of Franklin would damage recruiting in the short term. Highly rated players on the fence, such as Gilman's Darius Jennings, would be much more difficult to land. The Terps could also face de-commitments from the 20 players who have verbally agreed, but are not able to sign until early February.
