I side with a teenager getting to make his own decision and most times kids would rather play QB in college than CB if given the choice...

I agree 100%.

However, since we are dealing with teenagers, who don't always have the ability to think 4-5 years down the road (at times my teenagers have a hard time thinking one day down the road), we hope that they have some really good guidance when making a decision.

With that said, as always I wish Darius the best in making a good decision and hope that whatever decision he makes, is the best one for him and his dreams are realized.

Maybe.. because if they think they have a chance to ever play in the NFL.. they also need to ask themselves... "will I play QB in the NFL".. if probably not... well, that might tend to influence you differently

I wonder how many NFL skill players were the QB on their HS team... I suspect the number is really high..

FWIW

This kid to me seems like he wants to be a big fish in a small pond. And there's nothing wrong with that at all, but that just doesn't bode well for us. I really hope I'm wrong and we land him and can play him across from Grant, but a lot of recruits love playing offense and toting the rock, especially if they've had success already in HS.
