Kentucky is being investigated for the recruitment of a kid that ended up at Kansas? Kudos to Selby if true for not letting that sway him to Kentucky.

Yep. Kent Sterling report says Kentucky is being investigated for recruiting Selby. Selby's relationship with Carmelo Anthony's business manager, Robert Frazier, is being scrutinized as is the relationship UK, KU and Tennessee had with Frazier during the recruiting process.
Josh Selby and Three Major Programs Being Investigated by NCAA ?

So to tie that in with this thread, reportedly UK is being investigated for shady recruiting practices, not entirely unlike what has been claimed to have happened with Anthony.

Mike, he already did.

Nice!

Anthony Davis trademarks Unibrow

Kentucky basketball star Anthony Davis is widely expected to be the number one selection in this Thursday's NBA draft. But he's already locked down one unique distinction: filing a trademark over his unibrow.

"I don't want anyone to try to grow a unibrow because of me and then try to make money off of it," Davis told CNBC. "Me and my family decided to trademark it because it's very unique."

In addition to registering the likeness of his eyebrow hair, Davis has trademarked the phrases "Fear the Brow" and "Raise The Brow."

con't...

Nothing says long term investment like a unibrow...What has this world come to? And why would anyone grow a unibrow when we can make fun of his for free?

I didn't read the story, but it just sounds bogus. It's hard to believe Davis would patent a unibrow. But if he did, that just provides more evidence to how money hungry he and his family is, if you doubted before that they got a $200K payday in exchange for his commitment to UK. Getting $ for attending a school is a lot more mainstream than trademarking an ugly feature.

You can't patent it... but trademark... yes, the US gov allows such stupid things... however it will be interesting to see the people who've had unibrows forever come out of the woodwork and invalidate it... gotta love the money grabs

The US has been granting an avalanche of patents for generic, not new concepts in the tech world, see Apple, I wouldn't put it past them to grant one for a unibrow.

True but I'm pretty sure there are plenty of people who could claim prior art (Frida). On a side note.. if he were to patent the unibrow with that grill of his... that is definitely unique
