Coaches Aid - Hollywood Chaminade ties county reecord

By: Rick Harmon - Posted on: 9/12/2009 8:26:41 PM

Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna tied a Broward County record Saturday as the Lions defeated Pompano Beach, 83-0. Quarterback Jerrard Randall was 9-of-14 passing for 192 yards and five touchdown passes. Demetri Beal had two of those TD passes and added a 99-yard kickoff return for another score to start the second half.

The record equals Pompano Beach Ely's 83-0 win against Gifford in 1951, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

OFFERS: Ohio State, Oregon, USF, FIU, W. Virginia, Florida St... His favorite team is Florida but he won't approach recruiting as a fan... Is setting up unofficials to Oregon & Ohio State for the spring game... Has attended camp at OSU & will again this year... Already has a good relationship with the coaches and his head coach played for Tressel at YSU...

By Brian Snow...Coach Tyrell, who played for JT, talks about what makes Randall so special...the schools that seem to be after Randall the hardest are Florida, Florida State, Ohio State and Oregon...also talks about Randall's teammate Curt Evans, who he compares to Joe Haden, and Jonathan Aiken, who Tyrell says is the heart and soul of the program...all three will camp at OSU this summer.

Yes, we are recruiting him as a QB...

Interesting that we have Bridgewater really interested, as well as Randall, with Braxton essentially in. But regardless, any of those 3 could play other positions so I would love to see Randall in this class.

I don't think we're interested in Bridgewater much at all, and definitely not as a QB...

Agred 100%...that's why I haven't included him or O'Leary in any of the ranking updates I've done...people probably would be better served to forget about those two...back to Randall, who should be considered a Florida lean if anything at this point...
