Just a quick update
He sat out Jr yr, due to a shoulder injury, but he was given a clean bill of health 3/6 and has been to the UA Phoenix combine.

Cornerback JeRyan Butler (Tempe, Ariz./Marcos De Niza) looked solid during warmups and testing. He even had an L-cone shuttle time in the 7.4-second range, which was outstanding given the conditions, before departing early. He's a prospect on the rise, and he looked the part in limited action. UCLA is one of the schools giving him a hard look.

One source said if Butler were in the state of California, he would be a high-level Pac-10 recruit. During the short time he was at the Under Armour combine Sunday in Glendale, Ariz. Update.
San Diego State is the first D1 school to make a verbal offer. He did really well at the 7 on 7 tourney at SDSU, but we could not make the cbus camp because they fell within days of each other.
