Kid just refuses to go down. Shows some nice cutback ability. Nice pass receiver. How's the competition like?

Mesquite is 5A which is where the big schools play. Mesquite played 3 teams last year that rank in 5ATexasFootball.com's 2009 pre-season top 25. (Southlake Carroll, Lewisville Hebron, and De Sota) Mesquite also played Tyler Lee last year, who is a traditional powerhouse. I'm not an expert but the competition looks to be about as good as Texas has to offer.

It says that he had 42 carries for 131 yards in his rivals profile. His film is not very impressive. But hey, maybe he is just starting to come into his own.

Yeah I gotta agree. I love the kid's passion, but I need to see some more impressive tape on him. The one linked really didnt blow me away. I mean he has decent measurables and plays against top notch Texas competition which is great, so the potential is there but I need to see more on film.

I'll be rooting for him wherver he goes though just because of his passion
