Scout $ - Phillips Gains New Offers and Interest

5/11

By Alkire...Georgia and Virginia offered, joining the likes of Arizona, BC, Iowa, Maryland, Rutgers, Pitt, Illinois, Michigan State, Louisville, West Virginia and Wisconsin, among others...says the school showing the most interest that has not offered is OSU.

#33 player in the country on Rivals and the #5 WR in the country on Scout...seems to be legit. Hopefully we have some kind of shot because I would to see us get a playmaker WR to go along with Williams (if he does have an offer).

Talks about OSU increasing his contact. Article has a lot of speculation about OSU's target board at WR.

Additionally, the 6-foot-2, pass-catcher is planning a Midwest tour this summer, "I want to visit a lot of schools this summer. 'm looking at the Big Ten, but I haven't visited any of them yet. I'll get out to some Big Ten schools this summer."

Phillips caught 40 passes for 765 yards (19.1 average) and 10 touchdowns during his junior campaign. He also rushed for 289 yards and one touchdown and returned one kickoff for a score.
