Detroit LB Hearing From Tigers

LB William Gholston (6-7 242) of Detroit, MI already has 15 offers and is hearing from Clemson and USC. "I've received some letters from the Gamecocks but I haven't talked to any of their coaches yet," he said. He has, however, spoken with Chris Rumph. "Coach Rumph wants me to come down there and see if I like it to see if it's some place I would consider going," said Gholston. "I don't mind moving down south. I have family down there. Clemson is really beautiful. It's some place I might want to live when I get older." He also likes the defense and tradition. "They've got a pretty good defense and I know they've done a good job of putting defensive players in the NFL in the past," he said. His offers include FSU, Florida, Miami, LSU, Notre Dame, Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Oregon, Purdue, Alabama, and Iowa. He does not have a favorite. As a junior, he recorded 108 tackles, 22 for loss, and 16 sacks.

Wonder does this have to do with whatever is going on with Turner? Love the offer, just hate it took to long. Hope he doesn't discredit the Bucks for jumping in late. Pretty sure they have always been in contact though.:osu:

I'm not ruling it out...at least not him playing a hybrid of DE/OLB. He reminds me of Martez Wilson a little bit (yes, I know Wilson is only 6-4).
