IMO, a safety isn't worth getting all worked up over. This kid is another Major Wright, possibly better, but I think I'd compare him to Wright fairly favorably. He is roughly the same size, big hitter, but stuggles in pass coverage (as he has shown mightily at the Army AA Bowl practices). He's a great player, don't get me wrong, but not worth everything he is putting UF and FSU through.

A few months ago we were all hoping to get Elam up to Columbus for a visit, and hopefully sway him. Now I am glad we are not in the middle of this soap opera.

Elam isn't worth the headache IMO. IMO he will end up at LB, cause he can't cover period....
