'10 FL S Marvin Robinson (Michigan signee; transfer to Ferris State University)

So that he can welcome him off the plane and be with every other major recruit that is looking at UM.

Sorry, but Ricardo moving to Ann Arbor now is only good for UM.
He doesn't seem to fit the typical Rodriguez WR. 6'2" and 200 pounds, a WR/TE prospect.

He doesn't fit for many reasons.

1. He is taller than 5'9".
2. He weighs more than 175.
3. He is listed as a WR/TE, rodriguez doens't use TE's.

I don't chalk this up to be a Rodriguez recruiting coup, Miller's mom is a um alum, and reportedly steered him there.

I bet he plays LB or DE at um.

I'm sorry since this is a computer and all I can't tell, but I SERIOUSLY hope this is sarcasm and is just a play on of RR's recruitment of only midgets, if you believe Miller will be a LB or DE at Michigan..

My two cents. You can't deny the fact his Mom is a um slappy, and based on RR's recruiting of midgets, I can't see the kid playing WR.

I bet he moves positions before his time is done in A2.

Come back here in 3 years and we will see if I am wrong. If I am, I will tell you so.

I normally try to just read this forum and avoid posting, but this post is on a different level of dumb. Why would any coach, in their right mind, not want a WR because he's too small? There is no coach in the nation that thinks like this. RichRod's recruiting classes at WVU even disagree with you. His 3 WR commits in 2007: 6-3/190, 5-10/165, 6-4/195. It's clear which ones were outside WR and which was the slot guy there. In 2006: 6-2/170, 6-5/205. In 2005: 6-4/195, 6-2/180, http://westvirginia.scout.com/a.z?s=159&p=8&c=1&nid=1159004#video5-10/185, 6-2/183. Even in 2004, four of the five WR recruits for WVU were at least six feet tall. One was even 6-5. So yeah...

Scout.com: Robinson Gives Ol' Blue the Edge

By Allen Wallace
National Recruiting Editor

Marvin Robinson says he's already been to Michigan a few times, including last season for the Michigan State game. "I love the atmosphere at Michigan," Robinson said. "Also I have a good relationship with the coaches already. They've been recruiting me for a while and I've gotten to know them well. They are pretty excited about next year. They signed two top quarterbacks who can run the spread..."

Didn't Marvin ask the Ohio State coaches to stop recruiting him?

I think this kid is just trying to "play the recruiting game" and that he's known for a long time that he's going to Michigan.
Straightforwardly asking tOSU to "stop recruiting" him and "playing the recruiting game" don't sound like the same thing to me.

I read that article about a half hour ago and after reading it, I would be surprised to see him end up at a place other than scUM. That being said, we are at least in his top 4 and will probably get a visit. Anything can happen...

No.

It's not playing games, it's making sure.
