The Ohio State-Michigan game is a long way off and just about all of the recruiting battles between the two are over as far as class of 2009 prospects are concerned. But a big battle is brewing between the two rivals for a standout Class of 2010 prospect. Safety Marvin Robinson (Eagle Lake, Fla./Lake Region) already has written scholarship offers from: Ohio State, Michigan, Florida, Boston College, Tennessee and Florida International.

According to Lake Region coach Stephen Reynolds, Robinson's top three choices in no particular order are Michigan, Ohio State and Georgia.

"Right now he is interested in Michigan, Ohio State and Georgia," Lake Region Coach Stephen Reynolds said. "But he's warming up to Florida."

per his request we've stopped recruiting him.

That's actually really a nice thing for Marvin to do. Not as though we would have kept in his ear, but we know that is one less kid to spend resources on. Whether or not you appreciate the fact that he is going north, he is a straight shooter about it, and isn't playing the hat game. Good luck Marvin, 364 days a year.
