He got drafted 8th overall by the Titans. 8th overall??? Based on what? His 0 interceptions in 2008? His... um... I don't even see any other stats that I can sarcastically say anything great about. I guess he ran a 4.58 40 pre-draft. That's about half the time it would take me to run the 40.

UW is currently 2-0 after wins against Colorado State and UC Davis

They have the Apple Cup this weekend against Pac2 stalwart Washington State.

Just going by stats sites, with so little data to work with, they look like a fringe top 25/30 kind of team. The only thing that jumps out at me is they run the ball (so far) 65% of the time.

Given the schedule there could be good reasons for that (so bad they don't have to pass) but their yards per attempt is a very meh 5.5 against those two teams.

If they are that one dimensional against OSU they are in for a long day but no one knows shit yet. We shall see.

The best players were like Troy Vincent, Darren Woodson and Jimmy Smith. Bengals took the immortal David Klingler. Alonzo Spellman went 22nd.

Spellman had a better career than I remembered. Had 30 sacks through age 25 when his life started to spiral out of control and 43 for his career. Not bad. A lot better than another 1st off the bus guy, Vernon Gholston

It will be interesting to see Washington's man on man defense vs Ohio States offense. Notre Dame did a decent job but I'm not sure that Washington has the horses to keep up. Thoughts?
