Game Thread #1 tOSU at Purdue, Sat. Nov. 8th, 1 pm ET, BTN

I’m trying to think of another QB who came into a game after the midpoint of the season with an 80% completion rate, improved it in his next game, and then improved it again in the game after that.

I haven’t verified it, but I’ll bet that has never happened before now.

And we are disappointed cause he only had 1 TD pass among his 300+ yards, and he made 1 terrible decision/throw.
Yeah he's pretty good.

All things considered, a pretty solid game.

Liking what we've seen out of West at RB. Was a bummer to see Bo's big TD run get called back. The young guys are showing spunk in the run game.

Tegra still sticking out like a sore thumb....maybe it was a check down to Peoples that he didn't get a chip on Correa who was able to blow it up, otherwise that would have been a TD. Van Sickle seems to be forcing his way into the lineup, almost wonder if he might get some reps and ends up being a starter over Padilla?
Agreed with all of this, but perhaps Tegra is better suited at Tackle? That may not solve anything, but physically he seems to be a tackle. On Padilla, I might be missing something but I thought he's played pretty well...but I don't sit down and analyze each OL after the game.

He got reps because Padilla was hurt.

Tegra is very inconsistent. I think often it comes down to effort with him. Who knows? He just seems to stick out.

I missed what happened to Daniels?

Fielding had a great day. 49 yd FG was his personal best. Hope this boosts his confidence!
I said the same thing to my dad. You hope the game is never dependent on him, but I know better through a lifetime of watching college football. We'll probably need him at some point, so I want to see his confidence increase.

That's not even close to what this is. Some of y'all are addicted to anger.

All this fear and consternation about AI and the fall of civilization, yet alcohol has already learned to type. It’s been posting on Internet forums for decades and nobody bats an eye.

Eh, I don't judge too harshly. Sayin's INT was boneheaded and hopefully a learning moment. But before that, they were 8/9 on third down with the only non conversion being a drop.

Really felt like we treated this game as a scrimmage. And to force feed Klare.
Good to learn lessons like this in West Lafayette as opposed to in Ann Arbor.

Agree BN27 they are limiting exposure for a long playoff run. We've played about a game less than everyone else "exposure" wise by slowing it down. I think it's pretty impressive tbh.
