Even the ESPN guys are ridiculing that 3rd and 7 playOk folks let's deal with reality
OSU is about to go up 14-0. Will we win this game? Maybe.
Doesn't matter, the NC is gone. With the low profile of the pac 10 this year, we had to win every game 45-0 to stay in contention. And if you want my opinion, OSU will win this game by 20 points at least.
With so much media hype on the SEC and now the Big 12 with Missouri, Kansas, TExas and Oklahoma, if we didn't steamroll every opponent we are out.
Anyway, I am outta here, even if by some miracle we win this game the season is lost. I am so sick of seeing the team with every top athlete in the USA that can/'t figure out Oregon st. or Stanford or cal poly san luis obispo ...
How does Carroll let this happen after the upsets in the last two years?got the be the dumbest playcall in memory.
I cannot believe my eyes, it's obvious that the players aren't buying into the "every game is a championship game" coach speak. We're on the brink of wasting another national championship caliber team.
Oh the irony. (message boards are a piece of work)The coaching staff is not up to par. That's the problem.
Whenever I hear Carroll say, "just get a win and GET OUT OF THERE." It's almost like he's trying to play to not lose, as oppossed to just letting his team run wild.
He said this a lot in the past against away Pac-10 foes (after the game). However, this is the first time I heard him say it BEFORE the game (not sure where I read it, but it was in a recent article prior to the game).
Despite the rhetoric that "competition" is the rule of the program, that's not the case. This coaching staff has faovrites, and it results in the best players not being on the field. Point in case: The Joe McKnight hype machine. Guys like Bradford, Gable, and Johnson don't get shit, but McKnight gets special plays drawn up for him! It's complete bs. They need to get away from annointing certain players the "priviliged" one and start holding everyone to the same standards.
No... Davis, Orgeron, and Chow are the reasons we are spoiled today. Get it right. The last three seasons have been the biggest waste of talent in college football history.
