How about OSU - Minnesota in 1989? (Maybe that was 1988)
I thought about that game as well. But my recollection (which could be wrong) was the Minnesota was not very good while Illinois was a good (but not great) team.
What makes yesterday's game different from both of those games is that Wisconsin is a Top 10 team.
13-0. Toughest stretch of games any team has faced not just this year, but most years I can recall. This team has no quit in them.
“No one wants to play Clemson!”
Bucks need to rest up and drop kick Dabo in the face if he’s picked to be the next victim. Bring ‘em. This team is hungry. They’re the juggernaut you witnessed wake up in the second half. This is the team that can sleepwalk for half the game and then crush you with one hand.
No one wants to play Ohio State.
More that nobody knows what to expect with them. They play nobody, and blow everyone out, so nobody watches. LSU has shown obvious weaknesses on defense all season. Why do people think playing Clemson is so scary? Everyone makes a big deal about this...
If Clemson was that great they would be ranked #1
Coach Hayes said the that it was tough to get a team up emotionally for more than 3 games a year. The rest of the games you had to out talent and out scheme your opponent.
This team got off the floor and out talented-out schemed the number 8 team in the country.
I have not seen such a reversal in a game since OSU-Illinois in 1984 (Keith Byers shoe game)
Now some people get to decide what's next. Nobody should be concerned by what they do. Because this group of players and these coaches have proven they will give it their all and that's all anyone of us can ask of them.

Cocksucker.
Just said about the same thing in the CFP thread.....great minds....If tOSU is not ranked 1 at noon they should cancel all games against P5 non conference opponents and just replace them with FCS bottom feeders. Bama and Clem have been getting away with it for years and get slotted number 1, so there is no real consequence.
The CFP committee has a chance to make a statement. What will it be? Punish a team that won EVERY game by double digits, played in 9 conference games and didn’t schedule an FCS schools. Or is it more chicken shit Saturday rewards?
It would be a bad precedent to set.
Biggest takeaway:
Bucks made it through the grind unscathed. I'd rather be #2 (#3 would be even better), as the #1 team rarely actually wins the thing and a little "disrespect" is good for focus.
