The good thing is the offense has moved the ball. Not consistently, but they can get chunk plays and need to reestablish Dobbins. I simply don't understand why there are no screens or dump offs. Maybe that's on Fields though.

On defense, they just look awful. No tackling, no fire. DL isn't playing badly, the CBs are just giving free releases to the WRs. Coan is able to get rid of the ball in 1-2 seconds.

Figure out some zone blitzes, some different ways to cover. But the tackling is the most concerning.

He’s been right in front of us since that play. I am 1000% certain he would go in if they let him. His helmet had been sitting on the table behind the DB bench. They didn’t take it from him from what I could tell, but at the half he ran off the field without it. So they may have taken it at some point.

It's pretty bad when the offensive highlight of the 1st half was a pass by the punter and that drive was nullified by a fumble. I still believe that we are better than Bucky. Hopefully the Buckeyes come out ready to play in the second half. We' get the ball 1st and our opening drive will be critical in "making a statement" to gain momentum.

That's how many points Bucky scored in those games. They've got 21 at halftime. The one turnover we had was on their 4, so that didn't gift them points.

Where the hell is our defense?

Guys, Yes I am disappointed in the first half and if we don’t play better in the second half we could and probably will lose. But I have to call out some of your negative Nelly’s on this board. This team is undefeated, has beaten TSUN and is playing for a championship and a playoff berth. Hardly anyone picked this team to be in this position at the beginning of the year. Some of us are calling out the coaches, the players whether they want to be there, are they hurt or not, and generally taking shots while praising everybody the previous 12 weeks. Talk about fair weather fans...these are my boys win or lose and yes I am disappointed so far this game but if we are going down with my head held high because I am a Buckeye and not a Wolverine, Nittany Lion or whatever. This thing is not over, we still have half a game to play....
