Hey man, I'm a Sooner fan through and through. But quit trying to make the argument that OU was as good of a team as LSU this year. Bad refs or not, there was no chance in hell they would have won or much less stopped Joe Burrow and the LSU offense from scoring as many points as they did.

My advice to you is to accept defeat and move on. We'll have a lot of guys back next year and our defense will get a lot better in Year 2 under Grinch.

The player running out of bounds was jogging because he saw Murray about to sack Macaulay Culkin. He made no attempt to come back in bounds until he saw Murray had tripped and realized he had a chance to still make a play. Just because my hand is on you, doesn’t mean I pushed you.

maybe OU immediately gave up the subsequent TD because of Officials refusing to call holding and burrows had 17 seconds to throw it?

Or maybe OU just sucked because 5 key players were missing.....

The officials were still Shit. And that doesn’t make LSU a vastly superior team.

Florida, Alabama (with Tua), Georgia are all better teams than OU.
Auburn doesn’t make much offense, but their defense is good enough to keep them in every game.

All 4 of those teams are at absolute worst equal to OU.

having played them all, i’d also put money on each of them in a game against the Sooners.

so yeah, 5th best.

Well, I will say that Clemson worries me as they are inching closer to OU's NCAA record 47-game winning streak as they are just 18 games away. I would like to see them lose this one so I can feel safe about the greatest record in football that has gone 60+ years without being broken.
