#1 Indiana (straight up) at tOSU (ov/un 139.5) Sun 1 CBS

Love and trust Matta and he knows plenty more than I, but my eyes say Ross has to be in the basketball game as much as possible. He can score it from ANYWHERE, and is a good offensive and defensive rebounder. His confidence is growing, and he is getting better defensively.

And I love seeing them fight until the end. Weren't going to win it, but they showed a fight and mentality that is encouraging. B1G is brutal, was always going to be tough to get a win this week. No choice but to move on and continue to get better.

I appreciate Matta's loyalty to Lenzelle, but at some point he needs to make a switch to Q. Lenzelle just is not good at all against good competition:

Duke: 4/12 - 1/6 from three,
Kansas: 3/13 - 0/7 from three
Illinois: 3/9, 2/5 from three, 4 turnovers
Michigan: 1/4, 0/2 from 3, 4 turnovers
Michigan State: 2/7, 2/5 from three, 3 turnovers
Wisconsin: 2/4, 0/0 from three
Michigan: 4/10, 2/7 from three, 5 turnovers
Indiana: 2/6, 0/3 from three, 2 turnovers

And today it continues against Indiana. The sad thing is, he shoots very well from deep and has a high field-goal percentage against mediocre/bad teams. But you look at the shots he has missed today, and it isn't as if he had pressure in his face. It's just a big-game thing he can hopefully overcome. But he is just consistently terrible against good competition. It is no surprise to me that we just made a run with him on the bench. Q makes everyone else better even when he doesn't have the ball.

Just thought I would update it.

In fairness to Lenzelle, I think he puts a lot of pressure on himself to be the #2 scorer when LaQuinton is on the bench. It forces Lenzelle to be something he isn't, and as he tries to put points on teh board, these putrid shooting performances stack up. If you let Smith start at the 2G, put Ross in at SF, I think it helps Lenzelle focus on tough defense and role player on offense, while Ross and DeShaun handle the offensive workload.

It's criminal Ross only got 21 minutes today. I think Ross played OK today, but that OK, was still good for 5/10 shooting, 11 points, in 21 minutes. Time for Sam or Lenzelle to move to the bench, and let Q get the minutes he needs to really benefit this team and make things easier for everyone.

Why is Tom Crean allowed to walk on the court during the game? It makes me want to punch him! I can't even enjoy the game because he is out there on the damn court! It should be a flipping turnover everytime he does it. It's not like he does not have plenty of room on OSU's court. How the other Big Ten coaches take it I do not know. I do not like him and would literally fight Tom Crean given the chance. A&^hole!

He is a ass! might be a good coach so I will give him that but he is an ass. Kisses his wife right after the game instead of going down the line like most coaches and be the first one to shake hands with Matta . It's like he just got married or something. Fuck him! and stay off of the fucking court. I thought that they had rules only having 5 guys on the court at once.

Crean is especially bad at this, but it's a problem with many coaches today. I heard Lefty Driesell interviewed this week, and he was asked what he would change about the game today - he said he'd like to see the referees penalize the coaches for the violation of walking onto the court! (And it is a violation, just not sure what the penalty would be.)

They call technicals on that kind of stuff at the HS level, so I don't know why they couldn't do the same at the college level. To me its no different than how the refs give coaches Ts in other situations.

Speaking of technical fouls, I want to know why one wasn't called on IU when (I think it was) Watford slammed the ball to the ground and let it go. That he was fouled shouldn't matter, it should be IU shooting, then the T shots, OSU ball. Wouldn't have mattered, but I really want to know why they didn't call it. Like I said, the foul that happened before that should not be a reason for the no call on something like that.
