Deshawn Painter is no longer part of the Gators recruiting class. The Hargrave Military Academy standout sought his release and is intent on playing the field.

Billy D. is not only losing players currently on scholarship but now he is losing verbal commitments I know that Painter was on Ohio State's list earlier and they are lacking for a lanky 4 so I wonder if Thad would go back after him.

I would love for us to find a way to get back in the game here, but that would mean we would have to make sure the APR is only going to take 1 ship from us and not 2 since this is the 09 class...

Then we would have to have Buford leave after his sophomore year to be able to land a pg in the 10' class...

YUP, same with Tyus and w/o the APR the same with Payne and Ferguson. I'd love a tall thin big to compliment our WIDE Cs. But a few planets must allign and I don't know if they will!

Painter is not even looking at Ohio State.........

I wonder if the staff is even interested at this point.........
