Thinking Banks might be caught up in "playing the game". He's throwing a lot of contradictory or clashing statements out there, realized or not. Says he has a definite top two just before making summer visits, then he backpedals from the commit now buildup. Says he's in no hurry, despite a) OSU's class filling up more than rapidly, and b) wanting to be an EE (big deal at ND - not sure about you guys but admissions only allows us three per class, and one spot is taken already). Thought about committing to ND, but not too hard? Not trying to lambaste him or anything, but it is an odd one to follow.

Probably just a young kid getting caught up in the process and the attention. But I gotta say, if I were so fortunate to be going through this and knew all that I knew now I would make a call to the coach of choice to commit - and then spend the rest of my time jerking around every recruiting analyst that got hold of my phone number.

We are a sad lot and deserve everything these teenagers throw at us.

Definitely. In the end, who do you blame - over zealous media and fans, or a teenager in HS? I'd probably screw with the media too at that age, just to get in a good prank.

It is annoying for us when a kid sends mixed/odd signals, but it is important to realize that we're just as/if not more annoying to him and other recruits. Perspicacity is key.

From ScarletNation....Talks about his interest in Rutgers. Plans on visiting Rutgers and then Virginia Tech. Says he will probably take three officials, as he wants to graduate early.
