Terrence Owens
Duel Threat Quarterback
Cleveland (OH) Glenville HS

Not listed in the recruiting databases yet, but video is new to ScoutingOhio. I've seen his first name spelled two different ways (Terrence/Terrance) and this was the most common I've seen.

Left-handed duel threat QB prospect who may also project as an ATH at the next level, and after seeing his video, he's at worst a MAC or midmajor level QB. Throws first and runs second, throws with what looks to me good machanics, throws a tight spiral with surprising velocity, great screambling ability, doesn't look afraid to take a hit, and is speedy enough to outrun opposing DLs and LBs.

Very accurate short passer, though seems to throw them a little low to the wide side of the field. Doesn't look very consistent with his long ball and has a very lanky stature, not unlike former Glenville players Arvell Nelson & Kyle Jefferson. His progression as a QB will tell whether the bigger schools will take a flyer on him

I was listening to BK's free audio chat today Bucknuts.com - Audio Chat: Bill Kurelic Answers Your Questions and Bill was asked a questions about a possible late qb offer from tOSU. He brought up Owens and said that if Ohio State was looking to bring in a qb late in the process.....Owens might be that guy.

I haven't seen any video of Owens, but was wondering what those that have seen him, think of him. From everything I've heard, he'd definitely be a redshirt candidate and would need time to develop, but is there any chance of him being a late offer if the staff decides they want a qb in this class?
