From O&B News...recaps his junior season and talks at length about how much he is favoring Illinois. Says he is not interested in OSU due to lack of contact and will likely decide before his senior season.

From the OSU site...has had the most contact with Ohio State, Illinois and Cincinnati and after talking with Rocco Pentello he says he now understands he has to be patient through this process.

I know I've said this a few times on this board, but I trully think this kid is a special athlete. Ive been watching him play since he was in 8th grade. At 6'3" 325 lbs, i would be willing to bet that he moves better than anyone else in the country at that same size. He recently picked up offers from Miami OH and Kent State. I think you will see him blow up as soon as summer camps start.

Ricky's quick feet remind me quite a bit about Sian Cotton when he was in high school, except I think Ricky's a bit quicker. And Sian was tOSU caliber football-wise coming out of high school (though with the academic standards OSU has since adopted, that would have been debatable).

Glad to see he's going to be patient with his recruiting from here on out. You gotta love those guys who are Buckeye to the core and wait patiently for the offer. Props to Rocco for the advice. Wouldn't mind seeing Will Studlien take a page from Ricky's book here in regards to his recruiting, but that's his decision.

This kid was really 6'3'' 325lbs in 8TH GRADE!? Sounds like a horse we would love to have on the line! Sorry if this was stated before but which position on the line would he play?

Haha no, I didnt mean for it to sound like that. Ricky was HUGE in 8th grade probably around 6'0 250lbs and played fullback btw. But no, 6'3" 325 is his current weight.

And he has been told by schools that he can play on either side of the line but he would much rather be a DT.

By Kevin Brown....Wisconsin & Boston College have offered and are now his top two schools. Says Ohio State would be his #1 if they offered. Will camp at Cincinnati, Ohio State, Michigan State and possibly Notre Dame. Believes Cincinnati is close to offering.

From BadgerBlitz....More on the Wisconsin offer. Again says that Ohio State would be his #1 if they offered, however his current top 3 is Boston College, Wisconsin & Illinois. No timetable of making a decision.
