Riley enjoyed his visit to tOSU. Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Georgetown and Memphis are on his list. Riley spent time with Coach Matta and was impressed. He will visit Georgetown on Oct 13. Riley plans on making a decision prior to his senior year.

Transferring transforms 2-sport star

Da'Shonte Riley, Detroit Country Day: Riley, 6-11, transferred to Detroit Country Day from Detroit Cass Tech in September 2006. Eligible for the second semester, Riley worked his way into the starting lineup and became a force. He had eight points, six rebounds and five blocks in 31 minutes during Country Day's 66-61 victory over East Grand Rapids in the Class B state final.
