That fact he's even talking it over with his family whether to take the visit at all shows there's some valid interest...

I wouldn't put much stock in it. In the middle of winter, kids are just always looking for one last free vacation to get away from home for a while :wink:

Uh, a 10,000-mile rountrip flight, over a 2-day weekend, to a place that's 50 degrees colder is not a "vacation" by any stretch. Any thought process that he would be going to Columbus in late January for a full day at max just for a "free trip" is not very smart.

I expected the usual out-of-nowhere offer at this point in the game, but this one really caught me by surprise. Rivals has him as a verbal to USC as a FB. Does anyone think he'll really diss U of Hollywood for us just to play LB? He has to know that he could switch positions once he gets on campus. On another note, it was widely reported that we were done at LB after Z. Boren. So why go after an SC commit this late instead of continuing to pursue, let's say, Jelani Jenkins in the first place (whom initially had strong interest in us, BTW)? JT has to know something we all don't.
