'08 TX WR Jeffrey Fuller (Texas A&M signee)

The fact that JF Sr. played at A&M has to be a strong pull for JF Jr. And the fact that he even mentioned 'distance from home' shows that it's weighing on his mind.

His comments about tOSU really couldn't be much more positive -- loves JT and Hazell, likes the Holmes-Ginn-Gonzales track record, enjoyed his visit -- but family history and love of home will be awfully hard for tOSU staff to overcome. This one looks to me like a nice pick-up for A&M.

Fuller: ?I?m a wide receiver?
By Travis Summers, McKinney Courier-Gazette

Jeff Fuller wants to make something very clear to anyone that might be listening.

?I am a wide receiver,? the senior blue-chip prospect from McKinney Boyd said. ?I am getting recruited as a wide receiver.?

Fuller, who was a standout X receiver at McKinney High during the 2005 season, played the same position when he transferred to Boyd prior to last fall. He caught 27 passes for 327 yards and three touchdowns for the Broncos last season.

He has become one of the area?s top high school recruits with his 6-foot, 5-inch, 210-pound frame and 4.5-second 40-yard dash time.

When the barrage of premier head coaches in college football, such as Texas A&M?s Dennis Franchione, Oklahoma?s Bob Stoops and Notre Dame?s Charlie Weis, have visited Boyd with hopes of landing Fuller it has been with the understanding they want him as a receiver

Why the interest in Posey, he's a midget? :tongue2:

A midget that is being compared to Marvin Harrison!!

I'll take any and all of these guys as they are all awesome indeed.

Fuller will be a truly bad with Pryor manning the cannon!

In this Cordale Scott update, Cordale says tOSU will only sign 4 WRs and he says Fuller will likely be the fourth.

I was more than a little surprised by this tidbit. I have always felt that he was a kid who wanted to see the country, have a good time and be courted by the best teams, but that all along he has pretty much known that he was going to end up at A&M. I'm not sure if I have misread his recruitment or if Cordale has.

I really think if we get Fuller and Thomas(and Scott), that we may have not only the best line class in the nation, but also the best WR class. Every time Fuller is mentioned on any board, there's talk about him dominating another camp and looking "Calvin Johnson"-esque when it comes to his athletic ability.

If we got those two players, we'd basically have every type of WR covered. We could throw anyone out there depending on the situation.
