From the Auburn site...will camp at Auburn this weekend hoping to earn an offer.

He's managed to earn an offer just about everywhere he has gone...this would be anoter impressive one if it pans out.

Talks about the Auburn camp...the Tigers made him an official offer as a result.

I can see the backlash now..."this kid is fast enough and good enough to play in the SEC - why didn't tOSU offer him?"

Please understand I am saying this tongue in cheek. Congrats to DJ on another stellar offer. I am hoping there is one in the cards for DJ @ tOSU (provided the coaches feel he'll fill a need).

By The Bank...Bill Greene...will have his list narrowed to five by next weekend. OSU has told him they will offer after they see his first report card...provided he is making the grades.

Yeah that's wrong. We have kids who dont get into Ohio State wtih 4.2's and 26 on their ACT's, and I go to one of the top 20 academic catholic schools in the nation. The football players have a much lower standard. From talking to college coaches it can be substantial.

That is not accurate...right now JT and the staff have very little wiggle room on borderline kids. You might be referring to years past when Coop and Earle Bruce were able to get kids like Reggie Germany and Andy Katzenmoyer in with no problem, but the current staff has had their hand forced by the admissions department a number of times in the last couple of years. As an OSU coach myself (not football), I can tell you that getting student-athletes into OSU nowadays is no easy task...they had better have just as strong of an academic resume as any other student applying.
