With offers from absolutely everywhere, there is no doubt Brandon is a stud. The only problem is, if we offer him, we likely didn't get who we have already planned on getting. BM is going to do just fine. :)
Junior is No. 1 academically in school and now with a 53-2 1/4 toss is No. 1 at Roosevelt Memorial.

DAYTON ? The best competition Friday, the opening day of the 33rd Don Mitchell Roosevelt Memorial track and field meet, was in the shot put ring.
Vandalia Butler's Jimmie Pacifico, who set the state record earlier this week at 70-feet, 10 1/2-inches, was not in the field. So that left first place open to anyone who could throw it 52 feet or farther.
The winner was Trotwood-Madison's Brandon Moore with a personal best toss of 53-2 1/4. That effort came on his second to last try in the finals and got him by Kyle Schowchow of Brookville who came in second at 52-6. "This is the first real big meet I've won," said the 6-foot-6, 230-pound junior. "When Jimmie's around, we're all usually throwing for second." Moore isn't sure if he's more competitive in the classroom or in athletics. He is No.1 in the Trotwood junior class with a 4.28 grade point average. "There's a couple of other people who are close to me, but I like to be No. 1.," he said. "To me academics are as important as athletics."
Hurts to give away kids with the talent level of Moore and Mealer, especially when they choose the weasels up north. Although i cannot fault them one bit since we werent going to offer due to limited numbers and serious interest from OOS prospects.
MGoBlue29...go take it somewhere else. You are thisclose to being asked not to come back...we are not going to let you use this forum to promote Michigan's recruiting class.
I think this happening and only Koger in the mix does show that Moore was not getting an offer and that they think Stoney may turn into that field stretching TE/ H-Back.
Moore's commitment could do nothing but help us with Koger, though can't help but cringe thinking we lost both Brandon AND Elliott to TSUN. Those hurt.
Good luck, Brandon. May your luck against us be as good as Henne & Hart's
