The thing that strikes me about that article is the quote about him having to sit here behind Wells, Saine, and Herron, but he wouldn't have to at Michigan...
When he gets there they will have: Grady-SR., Minor-JR., Brown-JR., and Horn-SO...
We will have: Wells-JR., Saine-SO., and Herron-RS FR/SO...
Sounds like they are already trying to sell him a load...

A UM fan told me Grady was transferring and that Brown is getting time at DB.

Not sure how accurate that is, im just saying.

We'll see... I know Brown got time at DB this year out of necessity... They would rather have him on offense though, so we'll see where he ends up...

Even if Grady doesn't transfer, he has been a major disappointment, has already been passed on the depth chart..not much of a threat.

Boy was he highly touted.

He was only a true sophomore this year... How many times have we seen a guy struggle until his junior or senior year before turning it on?

Devoe is good enough to see the field wherever he goes... Let's just hope that that doesn't become the sole factor for his decision...

Grady transferring is not a done deal. UM loves the potential of Minor, and UM landing Torrence would not necessarily stop them from taking another (ie McGuffie, Gray, etc).

Loeffler sure seems to have sold something that's a bit overstated. Torrence will have plenty of competition at both schools, but could probably play a lot in his 2nd year.

Grady - CWells: #1 backs, both possibly gone after 1 yr w/ torrence
Minor - MoWells: Minor future at RB, MoWells role player (1 yr max)
Brown - Saine: dynamite athletes, could line up multiple positions
_____ - Herron: workman back, Torrence could certainly compete

overstated or not.... you know Devoe Torrence is looking at our RB situation and seeing Chris Wells and Brandon Saine, two of the best RBs to come out of Ohio in awhile... He knows they are nasty talents...

He looks at the Michigan guys and sees basically players nobody has ever heard of... I know Minor is a nice up and coming back... but I doubt Devoe even knows who he is...

He knows who Wells and Saine are..

On a side note.. why doesnt this kid want to play LB.. u watch his tape, and he is much more impressive on the defensive side of the ball

At the moment it looks a lot more like you should be swapping Minor and Grady. Unless he stops fumbling, Grady is going to be the role player. It's correctable and entirely possible, but Grady isn't in the same class as Chris Wells right now. That's also why he may transfer, although that looks unlikely at the moment.

I'm not familiar with Saine's chances of playing at WR or DB for OSU, but Brown has a rather strong chance of playing DB. I expect we'll know during spring practice what will be done with him, and how our eventual depth chart projects.
