That kind of sucks that he won't be making a visit on a Saturday so that he could see the game atmosphere. That is one of our best selling points.

i think it is because he may opt to visit nebraska on that previous Saturday with his teammate, who already has his official set for that date.

didn't he have an official set for osu for that same date? in the 7/16 update he said such.

as an aside, miami is supposedly getting Jerrelle Powe to sign there. He was a 5* DT from two years ago that has been trying to get past the NCAA Clearinghouse (it take 2 years to get through Clearinghouse? good luck staying eligible).

Doesn't look like Power will factor into Miami's plans...

Powe, who has learning disabilities, has been working toward eligibility for two years. He signed with the Rebels in 2005, but the NCAA ruled he did not have the re-quired core courses.

Two junior college stars will make visit to Sooners

Villains and Sooner-haters beware. The Dynamic Duo is headed for Norman this weekend.
No, not Batman and Robin.

Another, scarier Dynamic Duo.

Torrance (Calif.) El Camino Community College defensive end Simi Kuli and teammate Justin Thompson, a defensive tackle, are two of the most sought after junior college prospects in America. And their Saturday visit could go a long way toward revealing whether either ? or both ? are Oklahoma-bound.

Justin Thompson
Defensive tackle, El Camino CC
Height: 6-foot-5

Weight: 280 pounds

40-yard dash: 5.1 seconds

Status: Considering Nebraska, California, LSU, Miami, Oregon and Oklahoma

Upside: Monster size and a quick first step.

Downside: Height produces occasional struggles with leverage.

Thompson on the other hand, announced his top three on Monday ? California, Nebraska and Louisiana State. The likely mid-year transfer included Oklahoma and Oregon among his also-rans.
