If it's on the internet it's gotta be true.

Your logic is actually backwards because word is he is not visiting...at least not this weekend.

From CaneSport...talks about visiting Da U for the NCSU game and talks about how badly the UM staff wants him. Interestingly, he says he is paying close attention to the recruiting classes the schools he is considering are putting together.

Recruits critical of UM - 11/14/2007 - MiamiHerald.com

By BARRY JACKSON
[email protected]

Several football players being recruited heavily by UM sharply criticized Canes players this week. And the Canes don't want to hear it.

On Tuesday, UM players reacted angrily to comments by Seffner Armwood High offensive tackle Matt Patchan, whose father played for UM. But UM oral commitment Marcus Forston of Miami Northwestern and UM target Brandon Harris of Miami Booker T. Washington said in phone interviews that Patchan's comments were dead-on.

Harris, a highly regarded cornerback, was at the OB on Saturday and said Patchan's comments ``are true. Some guys care. Some guys don't. You can sense it. Some are just coasting.''

Harris -- considering UM, Florida and Louisiana State, among others -- said Saturday's UM drubbing ''if anything, would have a positive impact'' on him.

"It lets you know they need players. It's a bad situation."

Northwestern tops Coral Gables, remains unbeaten - 11/17/2007 - MiamiHerald.com

Region 4-4A quarterfinal -- Booker T. Washington 49, Naples Gulf Coast 0

Booker T. Washington's perfect record remained intact after discarding Gulf Coast in the first round of the playoffs Friday night.

Despite an impressive opening drive for the Sharks that ate up nearly six minutes, the Tornado defense clinched the win with a game-changing interception and never looked back.

"The play that turned things around was the interception by Brandon Harris in the first quarter," coach Ken Harris said. "That finally gave our offense the ball."

Scout.com: Busy and Patient

By Allen Wallace
National Recruiting Editor
Posted Nov 19, 2007

Brandon Harris, Scout.com's No. 8 cornerback, continues to deny a leader from among 30 offers. "It's hard to say because I haven't had a chance to break down all the schools yet," Harris said. "I've been busy with my team, but after our playoffs are over I'll have time to really focus on these schools. I'm gonna take all of my time and make sure I'm comfortable with my choice..."

Continued...

Harris is focusing on Miami, Florida, LSU, Central Florida and Ohio State.

Harris was in attendance for the final Miami game played at the Orange Bowl on Nov. 10, the weekend he was supposed to visit Ohio State. "My family really wanted to go to the last game at the Orange Bowl, so I decided not to visit Ohio State," he said. "I'll try to reschedule it for December."

By S. Shipp at the LSU site. Harris says he has no leader, and also claims that the Miles coaching situation has him "unsure" about LSU. Harris has visited LSU and Florida, and says there is a 50-50 chance his next two visits will be to Miami and Ohio State.

What's the word on Harris? Did the recent committment of Howard seal the deal. All info out there points to him being a heavy Miami lean from the start. Going to be tough to get him out of Florida. He is still slated on all the sites as a visitor this weekend for the Illini game. Any inside info on whether he is still planning to make the trip? He might as well. All expense paid trip to watch the #1 team in the land. Might make a race out of it, never know. I'm sure we could find room for another top 10 CB in this class.

and I got ripped for this post. I'm not saying he ends up at OSU, but it appears it isn't a done deal yet.

Fact: he didn't visit C-bus last Sat., fact: he isn't coming,

I'll take a 50/50 chance. Sounds more positive than it was right after Howard committed. Who knew Miami was going to be this pathetic. All we need is to get him in the door and I think he will be blown away by the facilities, the coaching staff and lack of other DB's in this class. Although last year's class was 50% DB's, he could come in right away on special teams or even crack the 2 deep like Clifford did @ the beginning of this year before he got banged up a little. I've really liked this guy from the start. He could really round out the class if the troubles @ Miami prove to be too much for him to committ there.
