'07 SC WR Junior Hemingway (Michigan signee)

oh, wow, I hadn't heard of that yet.

Scotty Cooper committing to Clemson threw a wrench in the South Carolina plan...then that was followed up by Cliff Matthews decalring UGA his leader and Gary Gray de-committing. The wheels are falling off in Columbia and Spurrier is doing his best to get things back on track. He does not have the most charismatic staff for recruiting purposes.

Hemingway Unchanged

By Phil Kornblut
Conway WR Junior Hemingway (6-2 205) is holding steady with his final six of USC, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohoi State, Florida and Miami. Hemingway is hoping to make a decision before his season but he's not guaranteeing he can get it down by then. He does not have any visits planning for the coming weeks.

As a recruit I think I would have to take all 5 visits. I mean it is a free trip and this is a huge decision for a young man to make. I think if I was a coach I would HIGHLY recommend a kid take the visits just to be sure that the school he is choosing is the best fit. At the same time I can see why a kid would want to commit to get it over with, the constant mail, calls, etc would wear thin on me quickly.

There is a quote in there that is very telling, and I would be very surprised to see him end up at Michigan. I am going to go with South Carolina here. It makes me smile. If scUM doesn't get either Hemingway or Clemons... and now no Washington... who do they turn to?
