'07 OH QB Clay Belton (Miami of Ohio Signee)

The mild cats of K-State have freshman QB Josh Freeman (Grandview, MO) in the fold and he was very impressive at the spring game. So much so that one of the other QB's has already transferred out. Clay would be wise to take note of that and new head coach Prince -No more senile Schneider(sp)

I have played against Evans and spoke with others who have played against him and nobody even remembers who he is. MU's best player was at RB, then at WR. I wasn't impressed and Belton is much tougher to go against. Belton is a good player but #3 is way too high. To be honest, I think some could argue that he may not be a top 10 player in the state.

What I don't understand is Duane Long ranks him at #3 in Ohio, someone on the board said they believe that is too high, and Duane Long says he also believe #3 is too high...Why would he rank him #3 if he himself believes that is too high? How can a prospect be the 3rd best prospect in Ohio, yet might not get offered by THE instate school?

If we do not offer, is Purdue the safe bet to land him?
