'07 OH OL Mark Jackson (Illinois signee)

Mark is a different player than he was a year ago...he is now 6-foot-6, which most people will tell you is a touch on the tall side for a center. He also has a decent wingspan, which is another attribute you look for in a tackle. The fact is that if Davis wants to come on board, Jackson may get left out as well. But if Davis passes on OSU, then Jackson will likely get that offer, not O'Dowd.

Wow...Zooker is putting together one heck of a class........Lets see if he can do something with them now....the scary thing is, this class isn't over yet....word is Tez Wilson and Hughes from Chicago are going to commit soon too along with Robetson and Cornell....If somehow he lands Brent to go along to......Ouch....Don't think he will ge Brent.....Brent to Columbus IMO.....Though nowbody probably will ever knock tOSU and scUM off the top, atleast he's getting a crazy recruiting class to Champaign to maybe atleast compete a little. Looks like tOSU will be beating up on his other recruits too in a couple of weeks. those boys at Florida almost were all his recruits too..

Illinois receiver Brian Gamble will miss his second game because of suspension Saturday after an incident near a Champaign bar early Thursday. Gamble is among three freshmen coach Ron Zook suspended after they were cited for city ordinance violations. The others are offensive tackle Mark Jackson and defensive tackle Daryle Ballew, neither of whom have played this season.
