'07 OH DE Ben Martin (Tennessee signee)

I would rather have Martin in Tennessee, than to have Martin in Columbus wishing he was in Tennessee. Either way, I doubt we come across the Vols in the next 4-5 years, it has already been 11 since we saw them last. Honestly, if Ben doesn't like championships, Tennessee is a good spot for him. I wish him the best!

Either somebody dropped the ball, or he didn't like our depth at DE. Even with Rose and Dublin possibly moving down-Wilson and Gholston have 2 more years. I saw him more as an OLB Leo type anyway. Still, I hate losing Ohio kids. I guess he won't be the last. And really, there's been few that, after 4 years, I can really say, damn I wish we had him. OSU finds the people who want to be Buckeyes.

thats what I'm thinking . only 10 for next year as of now and ohio so loaded to
true, but it would have been awfully nice not to have to bank this schollie. all well. whatever. this is the not the first time and it's not the last. it's just amazing how many "insiders" were misled. again, this is not the first time and it's not the last.

edit: it also surprises me that ben's coach would let the cat out of the bag a day before ben was to officially commit... so...

wow, I cant believe this. Something is wrong here. How do we lose the top instate prospect, who had been leaning toward us for the whole year? It doesnt seem possible. I'm extremely dissapointed at how this class is filling out. If we dont get Wright I'm really going to be upset.

I cant for the life of me understand why he chose UT over OSU. It makes absolutely no sense.

don't get me wrong. I would have loved for him to be a buckeye but, the bucks are very strong at DE and young. I think he wants to be the main man not one of the top 4 at DE.

Next years class is loaded. Think fans might be pissed off wait til, next years class has 10 or at least less then 15 to offer. That would really suck bigtime.

Is the conspiracy theorist in me way off here:

The kid plays it completely close to the vest the entire time. Word has it that he's a Buckeye, but nobody really knows for sure.

All of a sudden his coach is out there telling people where he's going on the eve of the day he's supposed to announce after all this time keeping things hush hush?

Anyone with me here?
