The part that troubles me about the article is where he says if they offer him as a safety he'll consider it... I don't like when players try to dictate their position...
I had heard from one of the T-M coaches awhile ago that tOSU was close to offering Peake. Looks like his "tweener" status may be a little of a hold up. If he shows well at camp though, I bet he walks away with an offer though...

Peake says getting an offer from Ohio State would be a dream come true. He plans on taking the ACT again to improve his score. He's up to 21 offers.

I know what your saying, but you can't blame a kid for having a position he wants to play. He might also think he could contribute right away as a safety and he would have to gain weight/strength for the lb spot.

He looks like a college player right now. CJ was not healthy today (some sort of lower leg injury), had two bad starts during his 40... and still ripped off:

A core GPA of 2.75 would correspond with a combined ACT of 59. Assuming CJ scored a 17 on all four sections, his combined ACT would be 68, which would correspond with a 2.5 core GPA. As long as he keeps his core GPA up, he shouldn't have problems qualifying. If he can raise his ACT a couple points he shouldn't have problems with OSU admissions either.
