I posted this in another thread, but if OSU offers him, I suspect they have a real chance at him. When his brother was wavering on his commitment to Duke for basketball and was toying with the idea of playing both football and basketball in college, he toured both ND and OSU. Greg and his family were reportedly extremely impressed with what OSU had to offer. The family is also from Ohio originally (Medina, IIRC). If the family still thinks that highly of OSU, I imagine OSU will be a favorite to land Mike's services.

From the Ole Miss site...nice profile and interview of Mike. He says he patterns his game after Dan Marino or Tom Brady. He will attend the Elite 11 camp this year. He is wide open but does plan to commit before the start of his senior season.

Just curious how he is already slated to attend the Elite 11 camp. Don't they usually announce that closer to the camp.

Elite 11 quarterbacks are chosen based primarily on workouts at the Nike combines and at regional Elite 11 workouts. Perhaps it is one of these workouts that Paulus will be atteding.

My take: Very impressive in the pocket and throws a good ball with solid touch. Shows decent to good athleticism scrambling as well.

Michigan has offered. Arizona State, Duke, Miami of Ohio, NC State, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Virginia, Wake Forest, Wisconsin have also offered. Paulus may possibly make an early decision.

Interesting QB recruiting by the Wolverines with the early offer. I thought Mallett was their top priority, (and he well could be). Wonder if the Gutierrez transfer is forcing a two QB class. It's not easy to recruit two elite 11 caliber types. However, it has been done.

They brought in David Cone this year, and Jason Forcier last year. If they bring in two this year, then that's 5 under scholarship with Henne being the only senior. Gotta think they'll bring in one top notch guy, then maybe a sleeper type.
