Rivals premium article has quotes from Davis after RU's win. Mentions that his grandfather wants him to go to tOSU while his grandmother wants him to stay close to home. Still intends on taking his official visits to tOSU, RU and USC.

bottom line... Anthony Davis is in a catbird's seat... He can't lose...

Personally, I'm hoping his grandpa is the most influencial person in Anthony's whole life :)

The thing that this season should show him is that even if he does go to Rutgers, and even if he wins out, he will have little to 0 chance at going to the big dance.

That HAS to play a factor in his decision.

How so? Rutgers is 5th and a couple of the teams ahead of them will/could lose. It shows me that a team like Rutgers COULD play in the big dance.

Still a big game in the works AND a few things have to fall the right way. I think the bottom line of his post was that when you go to Rutgers, even perfection might not get you the the NC.......

I think that goes for everyone. Auburn 2004, anyone? Nobody thought Rutgers could even be in the discussion, yet here they are.

Maybe not this year but if they do go undefeated again it'll show this season wasn't a fluke and they deserve NC consideration.

i think the point is that if there are three undefeateds from bcs conferences, with one coming from the big east, that big east team is going to be on the outside looking in.

Rutgers and the long haul

A lot of teams make the turn and have a good stretch, but the bottom line is that Rutgers has been at the bottom for so long and the coach will become so highly recruited and fly the hen house when the multi-millions start calling.
