'07 FL RB Noel Devine (West Virginia signee)

His vids are sick, but he goes about 5'8 165, maybe. I'm sure he'll pack on some pounds, but I doubt he'd ever be big enough to carry the load, especially if he ever makes it to the NFL. MAJOR character questions as well...

On the field, there are few people who have the talent that Noel does. Off the field though, this kid has the potential to be a headcase the size of a Fred Rouse or a MoC.

I think we learned our lesson as far as headcases go. I'll take Saine, Stephens, or Rainey over this kid any day of the week

We've got four good RBs for at least two more years, so we won't have to worry about having to take a chance on anyone this year.

Almost added something like that at the end of my post there! I gotta say that I am as happy as a clam with "Beanie and the Jets". Even if we don't get anyone in this next class, we're still stacked. Anyone we add at RB should be brought in to "add another demention (sp?)" to our offense

5. Noel Devine, RB, 5-7, 170, North Fort Myers
People have been talking about this kid for years. He's Mr. Excitement with the ball in his hands. He can score from anywhere on the field if he touches it. There isn't a more talented player anywhere in America this year. Being 5-foot-7 and having some off-the-field issues that have been well documented prevented him from being No. 1 on this list.

The article talks about his dad dieing before he turned 1 of AIDS and his mom dieing when he was 11 from AIDS. I was under the impression that babies given birth by mothers with the virus usually passed it on?

He certaintly has lived a really rough life though, and due to his running out on 'Neon' I don't see that changing much sadly.

Actually the probability of passing it on is high. However, there is a drug that was hastily approved that decreases this chance considerably that all pregnant mothers with HIV are put on it.
