'07 AR RB Broderick Green (USC signee, Arkansas transfer)

But here is the problem as I see it...

JT has been working this spread for 3 years.

He was tinkering with it even back with Krenzel at the helm..

Todd has been working the spread for how many years now?

Robbie for two years...

Henton is a spread quarterback!

I would agree that we could see some more pro set offense next season, but the spread is going to stay.

The spread isn't going away... however It's safe to assume more I formation sets... They didn't bring in Chris Wells and Aram Olson (a road grader at FB) to run the spread...

Broderick visited Tulsa this past weekend.

Green -- a running back from Little Rock (Ark.) Pulaski Academy -- was being recruited to Arkansas by Gus Malzahn. When the coach moved to Tulsa, he invited Green to campus.
"(Green) had a good time on his visit," Pulaski coach Kevin Kelley said on Sunday. "Coach Malzahn has a fantastic reputation at Tulsa and is a good man and awesome coach. Broderick respects that and wants to play for a person like that. That's why he took the visit offered him."
Green is also considering Penn State, which he visited two weekends ago. He rushed for 2,042 yards and 23 TDs at Pulaski last season.

Broderick Green to announce Wednesday

By Jared Trexler
Brian Norwood probably never envisioned making a last-minute trip to Little Rock, Arkansas. But come Wednesday, Nittany Lion faithful may be glad he did.
Four-star running back Broderick Green, a 6-1, 230-lb physical specimen with football genes and instincts, will announce his collegiate choice at a 1:25 p.m. (et) news conference on Wednesday, national signing day across the country.

Cont'd....

McKnight signed with USC...we'll see how that affects Broderick. FWIW, I tend to agree with the recent report that it is between USC and PSU, but we shall see.

I've said PSU on this one (and been severely heckled by USC fans on Rivals) for a couple of months now... Let's see if that is where he ends up...

If he bases his decision on getting playing time early, he'll choose PSU. Relatively speaking, tOSU and USC have much, much more experience and talent in the RB stable than does PSU.
