Bill Kurelic on Wesley Lyons

Yes, this is Devon's little brother; however, at 6'6", 185, maybe I should say that he is Devon's younger brother.

Wesley will be a junior at Woodland Hills this fall; last season, he caught six passes.

Wesley likes Ohio State, amongst others.

if he grows any taller he might have to move to the line (either te or ol/dl)

If he does, he'll have to put on about 60-100 pounds...not sure if he has the frame for that. I'll take a 6'6" wideout anyday. Need to work on his speed a bit, but that's doable...

6'6" is Plaxico Burress size, and he can definitely be effective like Buress (I still remember MSU tossing up those jump balls in '98 to Burress and him consistently outjumping Winfield/Plummer). However, he's only going to be a junior this year, so saying that he might grow to 6'8" isn't a stretch, and there really aren't that many guys 6'8" who're playing WR.

Correct, but purdue has 6-9 Kyle Ingram, he is an absolute match up problem. I remember last year as a skinny little forsh some teams were playing wrs who were like 6-4 on him becuasue of his reach and jump ball skills. Ingram played wr like a bball 4 and played with his body well this will be the key for lyons
