RIVALS

Last fall Darrin Walls visited Ohio State to see the Marshall and Michigan football games. He also went to Michigan to see them play Minnesota. Recently attended Junior Day at Pittsburgh.

Darrin might camp at Michigan in the summer, not sure right now. Darrin has a 3.4 GPA. He currently has offers from Louisville and Pittsburgh.

Does anyone know if we have a good shot at him?

He's visited campus twice... so we definetly have a shot. Keep in mind though that he attended two games this season and still considers scUM his leader. Because of that I wouldn't get too excited at this point.

Looks like he's worth keeping an eye on....

From the Michigan Rivals site...Walls has offers from Pitt and Louisville. He visited Michigan last year for a game, after which his father said UM was his leader. His current top 3 is Virgina, Michigan, and Pitt. He mentions that he and Wesley Lyons would like to play together and that Wesley likes OSU a lot, but in the end they will do what is best for themselves.

When asked Wall's admitted Michigan was his favorite. He likes the coaches and the fact they put so many corners in the NFL. He may attend the Michigan Junior Day. His only offers still remain Pitt & Louisville. Ohio State, Virginia, & Notre Dame round out his top 4. Having Devon Lyons in Columbus makes the Scarlet and Gray an attractive option. His main criteria for selecting a school will be academics as he wants to major in accounting. If he does not make an early decision he will likely delay his decision until after the season.

someone needs to talk to Darrin about Springs, Plummer, Ross, Winfield, Clements, and Gamble, not to mention, Nickey, Doss, Allen, and soon to be Dustin Fox.
Exactly!! What corners is he talking about beside Woodson and Law cuz I am at a loss? He did mention Woodson as one of his favorite players.

Maybe kids have looked at our current scheme and deemed it soft with the way our corners play off the line. I think it was more a matter of necessity vs choice early in the year. Once Youboty and Snyder got their legs underneath them, the seemed to be much more aggressive with their play/coaching. Now if only EJ would get his act together.

I think he's third on the DB "Big Board" as of right now, but I'd certainly think he'd get an offer. Just think Hornsby and Small are the better options at this point. Personally with 18+ schollies this year. I'd take all three! They are versitale players!

Dont see your reasoning here, I'm pretty sure Hornsby is being looked at as a WR and Smalls just said today on BN that he'd like to play receiver as well.. I think Walls would be a great get
