Darrin says Michigan, Notre Dame and Florida lead slightly over Penn State and Pittsburgh. All have offered. Walls claims 20 total offers including Oklahoma, Georgia Tech, Georgia, Kansas and Tennessee. Louisville was the first to offer.

Walls went to the Notre Dame Spring game this past weekend and he has been to West Virginia several times. Walls has been offered by over 20 schools thus far. Michigan, Notre Dame, Florida, Penn State and Pitt are his top five. He also likes Georgia, Miami, West Virginia and Ohio State.

Notre Dame and Michigan are his favorites, Last weekend Walls traveled to South Bend to attend Notre Dame's annual Blue-Gold Game and visit with the Irish coaching staff. Walls will participate in the Nike combine at Penn State on Saturday.

As is often the case at the high school combines, the climactic event was the QB/WR/DB drills. At the PSU Nike, the event was especially interesting for Michigan fans, with top U-M recruiting targets at all three positions: DBs: Myron Rolle and Darrin Walls. WRs: Dorin Dickerson, Vidal Hazelton, Wesley Lyons. TEs: Dedrick Epps. QBs: Pat Devlin, Jeremy Ricker. In this story we focus on defensive backs Rolle and Walls.

From the Michigan site...it appears that the Wolverines and Irish lead the pack for Walls right now. He is up to 22 offers. He is looking forward to seeing the two play on September 10th.

Darrin still has Michigan and Notre Dame as his leaders, but says he is still looking at a number of other schools. Unfortunately, he did not mention tOSU in that list. He plans to decide in January.

This just in: Notre Dame needs cornerbacks. Notre Dame football coaches arel exploring the country this May looking for top corner prospects who can help solve their passing game problems. One of their top targets is Pittsburgh (Pa.) native Darrin Walls. The good news for Irish fans is Walls has the Irish as one of his favorites early in the recruiting season.

Notre Dame and Michigan are even at this point and he has over 30 offers. He is not going to attend any individual camps. His team is going to Notre Dame. He is still interested in Florida, Pittsburgh, Penn State, West Virginia and Tennessee just to name a few schools.
