'06 OH WR Troy Pascley (Louisville verbal)

Anybody know if those WR's would be 2 "big" guys like Wes Lyons, Chichester or Cumberland (though Jeff maybe at TE)... or speed guys liek Pascley, Small or Parrish? I would prefer some big guys.. though Pascley could be considered on because of his love for blaocking (Hines Ward clone?). Can you imagine a redzone offense with W.Lyons, Chichester and Cumberland lined up outside though. Pascley is a top OH wideout and he would be welcomed with open arms.

Pascley has decided to transfer to Alliance...
Probably a good decision for Troy if he really wants and OSU offer. I think he could definately impress at the camp and get one there, but if he doesn't and the Bucks strike out on some others, Troy could have an impressive season and get his offer. He'll get more touches in the Alliance offense to put up big numbers.

From BSB...Rivals has posted 2 video reels of Troy.

All 19 clips are of Troy at WR. I was much more impressed than I thought I would be. He is espcially deadly on slip screens and short swing passes, using his size and speed to get his body in a position where he can always pick up a few extra yards. He has some decent open field moves and is not the kind of kid you are going to bring down with an arm tackle. He is a Big 10 caliber WR in my opinion.

From the Michigan State site...Troy camped at MSU and was told that he is the running for an offer. He has pertty much narrowed his search to Louisville and Michigan State and hopes to decide by the end of the summer. He currently has offers from Indiana, Cincinnati, Miami (OH), Bowling Green, Akron and Pittsburgh.

Troy's favorites are Michigan State (offered), Cincinnati (offered), and Louisville (not offered). Troy claims that he is no longer considering Ohio State because the Buckeye staff lied to him (allegedly); perhaps not coincidentally, Pascley did not receive an offer from Ohio State, which was formerly his clear leader.

The Party line from tOSU regarding recruits that have committed somewhere else is that they don't make initial contact with said recruit, but will talk to them if the recruit reaches out to tOSU first.

Does this mean that Troy contacted tOSU? I don't find this hard to believe, and I'd be surprised if we'd go hard after a committed WR at this point, given we are loaded, have a few great prospects we're still in on.

After he called our coaches out and said they lied to him, I don't like this.

I was really high on him being a sleeper early, but when he went out of his way to bash the staff, I didnt like it.

Give me Joe Morgan, Derell Johnson, and Small and call it a day.
