Last year at camp, i got to throw some passes to him. He is blazing fast, i was impressed with him as much as i was impressed with hartline. He is def. a blazer, and hes got some nice hands. He told me his cousin was Antonio Pittman, so the bloodlines are there. A real nice kid, gave me tips on where to get the ball, every bit of 6'3, little big skinny, but def potential if i ever saw it. He told me last year he already has an offer from MSU from the camp he attended, so im pretty sure if he told me himself, its gotta be legit right?
Nah, well wait till the rumors off of BN come and THEN it will be legit. Word straight from the kids mouth, come on now you know better than to get FACTUAL evidence like that....

By Bill Kurelic...Troy took in a spring practice at OSU this weekend. He has visits planned to Louisville and Bowling Green coming up. His top 4 is Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, and Louisville with OSU out in front.

Troy was noted by the author as the sleeper of the VT Nike Camp. He was impressive in stature, did very well in drills and 1-on-1 work, and posted a 4.49 40 yd dash. His is thought to be under the radar due to a lack of team success last season. The author asserts that Big 10 teams will probably force the Buckeyes to decide soon on whether to offer Troy or gamble on OOS prospects.

Troy clocked a record breaking 3.91 pro-shuttle time at the Va Tech Nike camp.

Nice looking athlete. OSU's summer football camp may earn him an OSU offer, assuming he performs well.
Does that kind of shuttle time show he can play CB? Could someone chime in here with how shuttle times translate onto the field?

From Bucknuts...Troy posted a 4.39 40-yard dash at an OSU camp and the longest broad jump ever recorded at an OSU camp.
:yow1: 6-1" with sub 4.40 speed, great jumping ability and a stellar shuttle time. I like those combinations, how are his hands?

If he doesnt make it as a WR, his measureables and stats would sure make a nice CB or S. Sounds like the type of versatile ATH that JT likes.

With another good performance at this years camp, I would expect an offer.

Troy Pascley

</TD><TD noWrap width=3></TD><TD vAlign=top>Pascley Starting To See Offers
By Bill Greene Ohio High Scout/Contributor
Date: May 19, 2005

Speedy receiver Troy Pascley of Alliance (Oh.) Marlington is starting to see more recruiting avenues open up to him. The athletic prospect originally said Ohio State was in the lead; what is he saying now? We have the latest.
</TD></TR><TR><TD colSpan=3>
The month of May has gotten off to a great start for Marlington's Troy Pascley. Pascley, rated as one of the top receivers in the state by Ohio High magazine, has received scholarship offers from Akron, Bowling Green, Miami of Ohio and Pittsburgh. He admits to being overwhelmed by all the attention he's receiving from college recruiters.

"Ohio State was my dream school when the recruiting started, but in the past couple of weeks I've heard from so many schools that right now I just don't know what to think," said Pascley. "I'm talking to coaches at schools I've only watched on television before and it's kind of hard to believe."

When asked to name his favorite schools that have yet to offer, Pascley named Michigan State, Indiana and Louisville.

"Coach Hoeppner of Indiana is coming to my school next Tuesday," said Pascley. "He told me they're only taking one wideout this year and my film looks the best to him. I'm really excited about Louisville too. Coach Petrino is looking forward to having me in camp and I really like their style of play. The Michigan State coaches were impressed with my showing at the Nike camp at Virginia Tech. I ran a 4.49 forty that was electronically timed. My vertical jump was 36 inches."

Troy, who carries a 3.0 core grade point average, is awaiting the results of the ACT test he took earlier this month. This is a very intelligent and personable young man whose future is quite promising. Troy plans to attend one day camps at Ohio State, Michigan State, Purdue, Indiana, West Virginia and Louisville.

When asked to name a leader of the schools that have offered, Troy was quite open and direct.

"Right now, I'd say Pitt and Bowling Green are tied for the lead. I'm hoping to get more offers and some of the other schools have said they want to see me in person before they offer me. I'll be pretty busy this summer," said Pascley.

Currently, Troy is competing in the district track meet, but is hampered by a pulled hamstring muscle. The injury will limit Troy to only the long jump event. Pascley was measured at 6' 2" and 187 pounds at the NIKE camp and will make a fine wide receiver at the next level. Right now, the only question is who will be getting Troy's services for the next four years.

Troy said he would have jumped at a tOSU offer last year, but after being spurned by the Buckeyes, he would consider 4 to 5 programs above tOSU. Apparently, Troy was told if he came to campus, he would receive an offer, but nothing ever came through.

Very negative article.

Do not worry... that article was "spin"... If a kid has only 4 offers they would have to be the leaders...imo. I like the fact that Pascley has the presence of mind to say it. I bet the reporter asked. It seems like they have you as an OSU lock is that the case? And he answered with:

"A year ago, if OSU offered I would have taken it right away. Things have changed. They told me that if I came to campus they would offer. I've been there a bunch of times and still nothing. I've given them a chance but now there are 4 or 5 schools I would look at over Ohio State."

In a much more positive article, Troy still discusses a number of other programs but admits that his decision will come quickly if tOSU offers. Troy realizes tOSU is only taking 1-2 WRs this year and they will need a camp evaluation. However, if the Buckeyes do not offer, he will take all of his visits to make a sound decision.

This is a much more positive article, and it seems that if tOSU offers he wil still make a commitment to the Bucks. This is very good because he is one of the couple that I really want wearing S&G. He has tremendous athleticism with great speed and leaping ability. I'm really pulling for him to get an OSU offer in the near future so he will committ.
