'06 OH OT Lee Tilley (Auburn Verbal Commitment)

I really think Mapp may be the biggest sleeper in-state right now(now that Pascley showed himself at the Nike). I love Tilley's aggressiveness as well. I hope OSU offers soon...

BTW LSU offered Tilley today and have indicated to Mapp an offer may be coming in the near future.

I haven't seen Tilley in action but I like what I am hearing about this kid. The fact that every big-time school is offering Lee after they see his tape is enough to make me a believer. I feel pretty good about how things are going to work out in this years class of OL. EXBCAT, thanks for your insight. I hope Lee gets an offer.

Tilley is ranked as the #10 prospect in the state by Duane Long. From his comments in the article, it sounds like Tilley is willing to wait for an OSU offer. I would imagine he gets offered if he goes to camp, unless there is something strange that Tressel and Bollman see that everyone else does not.

As discussed days ago by BP's Greg Powers (Highstreet), Lee now has official offers from LSU and Arizona State.
I read somewhere that one of the coaches [Peterson I believe] made personal contact with Tilley last week. It sounds like tOSU has elleviated their interest significantly in the past couple of weeks.

Lee checks in currently at 6'7, 287. Lee picked up offer from ASU. (confirmed last week by our update here). If he has to go OOS for college, distance will not be a factor. He does not plan on any summer camps at this time. Once again Lee intimates that he wants a place that will help him grow as a person and a player.

Scout $ (Allen Wallace)

Lee has no expressed favorites, and plans to visit the "southern" schools this summer. School atmosphere, depth chart, and relationships with the coaches will be importnt in his decision. With al the great offers he is having difficulty trimming his list.

Now that Scout has had their turn... If you want the latest on Tilley's recruitment check Bii in the morning/afternoon....

Uh oh, does that mean he expects an offer from OSU soon or he has soured on the Bucks? I find it hard to believe considering his location [diehard Buckeye country] and family situation [both parents are OSU grads] that he would shun them if they asked him to come to camp.

What is your feeling now Highstreet? I know you have had some opinions on this situation lately.

It's hard to believe that there are three offensive linemen in the state of Ohio rated ahead of a player like Lee Tilley, who has an offer list that is comparable to anyone's. But that is the strength of this year's OL class. Tilley leads us off as we head into the top ten prospects in our Ohio High Top 100 countdown.
</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
Tilley is considered the #10 prospect in Ohio for the 2006 class. He is more of a pass blocker than run blocker. He has some early offers from the likes of Oklahoma, Georgia and Nebraska, Notre Dame is making a push.
