Distance you would think would be a factor with his relationship with his father. I really think he is ours unless VTech absoultely blows him away.

would this someone be on staff at bucknuts?I spoke to someone who spoke to Aaron's dad. Our chances are not good. As of right now it's Va Tech. ND's start has caught their interest. Aaron cancelled his Louisville trip this weekend in favor of a trip to ND.
everyone relax...we'll all know where Aaron is headed in 22 days. no sense in trying to decipher what dozens of different people are saying they have heard from one random source or another...and no sense trying to read between the lines when comparing an article about his auburn visit and his osu visit. considering the articles were done by two different people they are obviously going to be different. it's not like the same questions were asked or the same quotes were chosen to be in the article.

"Ohio State is where we want to be," he said. "He's an Ohio boy."
Wad, I agree we'll all know in 3 weeks but Cralvo remarks aren't too far off the mark. The main reason ND has crept in because of what's happened recently. No one has ever doubted that ND is a fine academic institution and that's important to the Browns. It's close and that is important. Aaron has grown up in an urban setting. Personally I don't know how well he would transition in the heavily catholic tradition that is Notre Dame. If Charlie Weiss can't assure Aaron the opportunity of early playing time, ND becomes less appealing regardless of it's traditions. The OSU visit went well with the Browns but according to George not Aaron, the OSU staff were not as accomodating as the Auburn people were. To me, some of the complaints were trivial, but as a die hard Buckeye fan, I can't really say I'm the most objective confidant. Regardless, Aaron is not going to Auburn. What is most important between now and Oct 6th are the coaches ability to persuade the Brown's that their program will provide ( I can't prioritize these, but I know they will all factor):
Academic support
The opportunity(assurances not guarantees) to play early
Proximity
Winning tradition
Rapport with the O-line coach, other staff
Aaron's "gut" feeling on where he would be the happiest
As you can see OSU matches up favorably with others that Aaron is considering. It is up to the staff to CLOSE the deal.
